John has been a lifelong baseball fan. He collects T205 and T206 cards. The ‘dead ball’ era cards are the inspiration for his baseball portraits. These portraits in particular exhibit how well he is able to combine his passion for historical accuracy with his artistic abilities, skillfully melding the past with the present.
